Athena

VIII Athena

Let Thy wrath descend upon the wicked, and grant Thy wisdom to the good
Orphic Hymn, ca. 300 BCE – 150 CE

Grey-eyed Athena was the goddess of prudence and wisdom, and of the arts and sciences of civilization. She bestowed command, skill, courage, and victory for those who revered justice, but destruction for the unjust.
